What is JROTC?
The Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is an elective program that helps teach life and leadership skills. The lessons that are taught in each class can all be used outside of school life. The JROTC mission is to " Motivate young people to become better citizens." Army JROTC does not obligate a cadet to military service.
Mission of JROTC
Motivating and developing young people is our primary mission and is what JROTC is all about. We are NOT military recruiters. We provide classroom instruction and extracurricular activities to help prepare Golden Eagle Battalion JROTC cadets for life after high school! Meanwhile, we want to ensure everyone, instructors, parents, and cadets alike have fun along the way!
Jrotc Core abilities
The JROTC Core Abilities are the a set of life skills that each cadet will gain through the program so they can succeed in the future after high school. These skills and abilities are what make up our goals and values that drive the JROTC program. The core abilities are:

-
Take responsibility for your actions and choices
