December 2019

Cadets marched in the annual Naples Christmas Parade in front of thousands of spectators.   They stayed in step and looked great.  Thanks to our Drum Corps for keeping the beat and our booster club parents for their support.

Every 4 years personnel from our higher Army Headquarters inspect many facets of our program to include Service Learning, Battalion Continuous Improvement Project, Cadet Portfolios, Drill, Color Guard and Instructor Portfolios.  This year the cadets scored an amazing 99.75 on the JPA.   We are so proud of their efforts and proud that our battalion will continue--as it has for 25 years--as an Honor Unit With Distinction.

November 2019

Another component of our annual service learning project is support to Rookery Bay.  Cadets helped remove a large amount of invasive plants from the trails connecting to the education center.  They learned about the danger of these plants and did their best to help.  Inside the center, cadets learned about environmental awareness and issues concerning Southwest Florida. Another GREAT DAY in JROTC.

Cadets and Their Families Donate Over $1,000 To The Conservancy

November 2019

As part of our annual service learning project, our cadets--with strong support from their families--donated over $1,000 worth of supplies for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.  Those supplies will be used at their animal hospital.   Cadets planned, organized and ran the event.   The staff at the Conservancy were ecstatic with the amount of the donations.  GREAT JOB cadets as always.

November 2019

Another beautiful day as our cadets kicked off the 5th annual CCPS 5K.   Cadets provided the Color Guard and Honor Guard for the event which was the largest to date, with 2,500 participants.

Cadets Support Veterans Day Events In Naples

November 2019

Cadets provided a Color Guard for the Home Base Golf Tournament at Quail Creek Country Club.  The event raised funds and awareness for veteran medical support.  In addition, our Color Guard also performed at the Lake Park Elementary Veterans Day ceremony.

Cadet Rosal Visits Washington DC As Part of Honor Flight

November 2019

Cadet Captain Gareth Rosal escorted a Vietnam veteran to Washington DC as part of Collier County Honor Flight.   They visited Arlington National Cemetery, WWII Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and other places of interest.   So proud of the way Gareth took care of one of our veterans.

Raiders Bring Home The Trophies At The County Raider Meet

November 2019

Congratulations to our Male, Female and Mixed Raider teams for bringing back a few armloads of trophies from the County Raider Competition.   Events included rope bridging, tire flip, cross country rescue, team run and obstacle course.   Tough competition from tough cadets!!! Great job!

Become a Community Partner/Sponsor

Please consider becoming a sponsor for our JROTC cadets.  Since the Army and school district do not cover all needed expenses, we need your help to motivate these young people to become better citizens.   Community partnerships & sponsors are invaluable.  In addition, we enjoy giving back to our community partners with color guard and other cadet support.
