Corporate and Community Partnerships / Sponsorship
Our cadets care about our community and that is why we do our best to cultivate Community Partnerships. We do our best to support a wide variety of events and activities in our area. Examples include the American Heart Association Heartwalk, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Veterans activities, Local parades, Over 50 color guards a year for various events, Health screening support at local elementary and middle schools...and so much more!
Meanwhile, Corporate/Community sponsorships is one the main ways we resource many of our cadet activities, events and competitions. In addition, this funding helps pay for cadet sabers, drill rifles, trophies, visits to local colleges, transportation for community support events, scholarships, etc.
One of the ways sponsors help us out is through advertising on our JROTC cargo trailer. Not only does the trailer carry equipment, but it is also an publicity vehicle (no pun intended!) for local businesses. These businesses donate to our program and in return, we affix their company logo on our trailer for a period of one year. We also recognize our sponsors on our web site and do our best to honor appropriate requests for color guard or other cadet support. The companies receive publicity when we take our trailer to parades and other events around Collier County. This is truly a win-win situation for everyone involved and we can't say enough about the generosity of our local business community. They really care about our students and our program.
